I earned a PhD in Physics in 2011, and my primary area of expertise is Solid State Physics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">My research focuses on the relaxation phenomena of excited states in low-dimensional colloidal nanostructures, such as semiconductor quantum dots. I am also interested in the ultra low-frequency vibrational dynamics of such nanostructures. Previously, I worked with various lanthanide-doped materials and silicon-rich silicon oxide thin films. My primary areas of expertise are Raman and time-resolved spectroscopy of various emerging nanostructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ee3bda9e61ece295d37a7c86d6f25be2\" style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">I am a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/osn.pwr.edu.pl\/\"><strong>Laboratory for Optical Spectroscopy of Nanostructures<\/strong><\/a>, a group that studies different low-dimensional semiconductor structures, both theoretically and experimentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-text-subtitle is-style-text-subtitle--1\" style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);font-style:normal;font-weight:700\">The main topics of my research include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">Non-exponential relaxation dynamics of excited states in disordered solid-state materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">Radiative decay of semiconductor quantum dots in dielectric media and photonic materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">The development of new methods for statistical analysis and interpretation of non-exponential luminescence decay data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">Quantum confinement of optical and acoustic phonons in low-dimensional semiconductor structures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.196), 1rem);\">Applications of colloidal semiconductor quantum dots in light-emitting devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a researcher and academic teacher in the Department of Experimental Physics at the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology of Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology in Wroc\u0142aw, Poland.
